I didn't think I would have time to enter another one due to my work schedule but it's amazing what 4 cups of coffee a day can do to you.
She is The Fujin Battleship Class The second ship from the top, with some minor tweaks. Here is the link --> [link] Submission One link --> [link]
Lenght: 700m Height: 203m Width: 280m
I am aware I referenced this ship in my first entry and there might be a possiblity that the Fujin from that painting does not look like this ship but lets not make a big deal about it...please?
Thank you for viewing and good luck to all who entered.
I love this design, the way it sort of does this kind of human proportion hour-glass sort of thing in the middle, and of course, the name threw me a bit. At first, I thought you had it wrong, as Fujin in my mind was a different meaning, and Shina-Tsu-Hiko is one of the Japanese Gods, and of wind to boot. However, I realize now that Aijin is the word I mistook Fujin for, and Fujin is the Shinto God of Wind, (aside from the Final Fantasy take on the God).
At first, I thought, especially given the design, that "Fujin" in the definition I thought it was was actually a good name for it. I mistook "Fujin" for "Mistress". And for a battleship, that's not really a bad name, if you think on it. That all said, great design, and I really like your second place win, the Naru-Kami. They are both excellent concepts, and your rendering, balance, and general artistic skill, both in painting and modeling are exceptional. Very good work.
But it seems the Gallente aren't getting all their dues this time around, maybe next time. It seems the Minmatar came out on top this time. Great symmetry, balance and flow in both designs. Very believable, and if I was playing, would love to get my hands on either of these vessels in-game. Can't say enough, I guess, lol. Good work. (Even if the Fujin isn't actually present in the painting, and it looks like the Naru-Kami - Not making a big deal, just an observation. ;-}). Two thumbs up. I'd give more, but ya know, I was only graced with two. :-}
